How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 4

How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 4

Perform scalp massages regularly, preferably daily, to encourage hair growth and you will soon notice that your hair has more luster, shine, thickness, and strength. With stronger hair, you will experience less breakage allowing your hair to grow longer and longer.

Why this tip? Scalp massages stimulate increased blood flow to the surface of your scalp where your hair follicles reside. This increased blood circulation to the scalp helps to boost the strength of the hair roots. With increased circulation, the cells of the hair follicle is stimulated to produce our natural hair oils and in addition, massaging helps to spread these natural oils distributing more nutrients to the scalp that is necessary to achieve optimal hair growth function. Massaging your scalp with an oil that is rich in vitamins A, B, and E such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Almond Oil can be beneficial. Incorporating an oil or growth aid such as Gro-aut Hair Growth Oil into your daily scalp massage that consist of 3 or more of these oils plentiful of Vitamins A, B, and E can provide even more of a boost of your hair’s ability to grow healthier, stronger, and ultimately longer.

How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 3

How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 3

Reduce damage from styling. Avoid excessive heat from blow drying or flat ironing your hair.

Why this tip? Excessive heat to the hair contributes to split ends, frizz and breakage. Heat damages the hair by stripping the strands making them thin, dry, and brittle which in turn leads to split ends and breakage. If you must straighten or curl your hair, using a more gentle method like hair wrapping or rollers is a great alternative. In addition, air drying your hair or drying your hair with a dryer on the lowest heat setting or cool setting works just as well. Yes, it may take more time to achieve the look you want but the overall health and beauty of your hair will reflect upon it, you will notice it and so will others.

And Second, the key word is "Reduce". We say reduce styling damage because saying reducing rather then trying to eliminate completely is a more attainable approach. Just like dieting, most people do not stick to it because it is simply not part of their normal day to day lifestyle but like dieting, if you simply start incorporating better foods choices gradually into your daily diet, then more than likely, you will stick to it and see significant progress. This same approach is also great for growing longer healthier hair, focusing on a more attainable goal is always best and of course more probable so to achieve a long healthy hair goal, start your focus on practice habits that will keep your hair healthy.

How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 2

How to Grow Long Hair Tip No. 2

Wash your hair often BUT not too often. A minimum of once a week and no more than twice a week is recommended. For those who have naturally oily hair, you may need to wash more often but don't over do it.

Why this tip? Maintaining a clean scalp is key to growing your hair. Washing your hair removes any buildup on the scalp that has accumulated since the last wash. Build up on the scalp can block the hair follicle causing the hair to not be able to grow out with ease. If this blockage occurs due to build up, we experience unnecessary shedding. Some shedding is normal due to phases of the hair growth cycle but if you want your hair to grow long, you must keep a clean scalp to prevent unnecessary shedding.

It is also important to not wash your hair too often. Washing your hair too often will strip the hair of its natural oils and as a result of over manipulation it can lead to split ends, thinning hair, and again unnecessary breakage so if you want your hair to grow long be sure to maintain a clean scalp by washing your hair at least once a week or more often based on your individual hair care need but remember to not over do it.

Balance scalp ph to obtain and maintain healthy hair

Balance scalp ph to obtain and maintain healthy hair

Are you starving your hair?

Have you ever wondered why some people have soft beautiful long shiny healthy growing hair while others suffer with hair loss and thin dry dull hair with tons of split ends?

There are many reasons why one may suffer from hair loss and unhealthy hair but the most obvious and most common reason is the lack of necessary nutrients to support hair health. This all goes back to the saying, “you are what you eat” and you can tell a lot about a person and their healthy eating habits just by looking at their hair. Now although diet plays a major role in hair health, most of us must admit that we may eat healthy sometimes but routinely eating healthy may not be so. Everyday when we eat, we’re feeding our body and hair much needed nutrients from what we consume through our daily diet but like most, we need more than just diet alone to maintain a healthy mane. This is where how you take care of your hair on the outside by washing, conditioning, and protective styling comes into play.

Good hair care products and most importantly a commitment to a hair care routine is key. You can have a cabinet full of great hair products but if you are not using them then they aren't doing your hair any good sitting on a counter or shelf, so once you find something that works great for your hair, be sure to use it regularly.

Hair Products that contain nutrients that balances the ph of the scalp and products containing ingredients to support healthy hair growth is the key to feeding your hair the right nutrients to obtain and maintain healthy beautiful hair. But most importantly, I want to reiterate, routine. Just like we must eat routinely (daily) to supply our body with nutrients to survive, let’s not forget our hair. Hair should be washed a minimum of once a week and individuals with a hair type that is naturally oily may need to wash even more often than that so pick a day out of the week to spend at least 30 minutes focusing on obtaining and maintaining healthy hair. Then get you a great nourishing shampoo that supports ph balance like Gro-aut Orange Blossoms Strengthening Shampoo and use it to feed your hair weekly. Your hair will love you for it and your hair's new beauty will show it.

Below are some of the key beneficial ingredients supportive to hair health and hair growth. Finding great products that balances the ph of your scalp is important to not only help your hair to grow but to ensure that when the hair does grow from the scalp that it grows out strong and healthy.

Some great nourishing ingredients to look for in a shampoo:

Coconut Milk, nourishes your hair by giving natural moisture from roots to ends. It helps to prevent hair balding and is extremely beneficial for hair growth and its natural detangler and conditioning properties helps to provide longer thicker hair.

Castor Oil, high in omega 9 fatty acids, nourishing to both the hair and follicle encouraging longer thicker hair. Has a unique ability to deeply penetrate and aids in delivering nutrients deeply into the pores and follicles that produce hair.

Argan oil, often called "liquid gold", is an organic product extracted from the kernels of the argan tree is extremely rich in beneficial nutrients for the hair and skin making it a popular cosmetic choice for many celebrities. Argan Oil is proven to make hair softer, silkier and shinier and is an ideal conditioning treatment for the hair helping to treat split ends, tame frizzy hair, reduce dandruff, and improve hair growth.

Hair Growth Oil: Secrets Revealed

Hair Growth Oil: Secrets Revealed

All women want healthier, shinier and beautiful hair. For some people, healthy, lustrous locks represent ageless beauty, while for others, it is a sign of good health. The reasons behind why people admire shiny, long hair so much may vary depending on whom you ask, but everyone agrees on the fact that it is good for one to maintain strong, lustrous, manageable and shiny hair. While hair growth oils are not as common, they have been in use for several decades, perhaps centuries. Hair growth oils that are made out of natural ingredients are proven to revitalize and nourish the strands and the scalp.
One thing that should be noted is that our scalps are capable of producing oil in order to nourish and protect the hair and to keep them healthy and strong. Nevertheless, if we wash our hair on a daily basis, we are actually stripping our hair off the natural oils that our scalp produces which results in numerous scalp and hair problems; for instance scalp itchiness, hair loss, dryness, brittleness and dandruff production. A large number of people still choose to wash their hair on a daily basis even when they know that stripping the hair of its natural oil is not good for the overall health of the scalp and the strands. Most people do it for hygienic reasons while some do it to remove the hair products buildup like gels, sprays and hair wax. Even though it is true that washing your hair makes you feel refreshed, you should always try not to wash it daily as it may result in complications that you might not want to deal with as your hair and scalp are in their healthiest state in the presence of natural oils produced by your body.
If you are one of those people who cannot get rid of their habit of washing their hair daily, hair growth oil is for you. Hair growth oils are made out of natural ingredients and they can serve as a substitute to the natural oil that has been stripped off of your hair and scalp while shampooing and washing.
Hair growth oil is very advantageous as it keeps the hair and scalp moisturized. Normally, the best way to use hair growth oil is gently massaging it on the scalp and applying it directly on the hair. One can leave the hair growth oil in their hair overnight and can also apply it a few minutes before going for a shower. Some also choose to leave the hair growth oil in their hair, which is considered fine as long as you are not using a large amount of it as it will leave your hair looking greasy instead of shiny. Washing the hair growth oil after gently massaging it into the scalp is deemed to be more effective than just leaving it on but even if you are planning to leave it on for a longer time period always apply a small amount of it.
